NALalyse is a legacy specialized system administration utility designed specifically for IT professionals managing Novell ZENworks for Desktops. Its primary purpose is to sanity check, search, and document Network Application Launcher (NAL) objects within a Novell eDirectory Tree.

In the late 1990s and 2000s, Novell ZENworks was a dominant enterprise tool used to distribute software across corporate networks. The software used “NAL objects” to define how applications were packaged, who received them, and how they executed.
